Deimos-1 satellite reaches nominal attitude
Earth Observation satellites obviously need to point their cameras or sensors towards the Earth. From its launch the night of July 29th, the Mission Control Centre in Boecillo, Spain, has been working days and nights to stabilise the satellite and load the correct parameters. Due to the dedication of the joint Deimos Imaging / SSTL team, the satellite has reached the required orientation already and soon will be ready to test the cameras in preparation for the first image.
