Operations of Deimos Imaging have started after the Control and Downlink Station has been installed.  The large 5.5 metre antenna, the electronic equipment, and the computers for archiving and processing of the images are already operational.

A Challenge

If we except the several NASA and ESA stations located in Spain, this is the first time a control and downlink station is installed in out country.  This is a great challenge for a private company.

Opening Ceremony

The Regional Government for Castiilla y León has always shown great interest in our project and its location in the region.  The President of the Region, Juan Vicente Herrera, has accepted to preside this official ceremony on the 6th of June.
