This false-colour image shows agricultural structures in the US state of Texas. The South-central state’s leads cattle, sheep, goat, cotton and cereal productions. Texas is also one of the top three states in US oil production. The cropland is divided into circles and rectangles due to the different types of irrigation systems. Circles are made by central-pivot system, where the long water pipe rotates around a well at the centre, while rectangles are made when the pipes are rolled in straight lines across the fields. The scattered white dots in the bottom left portion of the image, are Denver City.
