Pamplona, a city in northwestern of Spain, held from 6 to 14 July, the festivities of San Fermin. Perhaps the most representative activity that takes place these days, are the running of the bulls, where people run 849 meters in front of the bulls through the streets of the city to the bullring.
One of the people who has contributed most to publicize this event around the world, was Ernest Hemingway, who wrote about it, in great detail, in his book ‘Fiesta’.
Pamplona is a beautiful, modern and quiet town that receives more than 1,000,000 people during this week of festivities.
